What are your top 3 favourite Cheerleading Company hen parties in London & Oxford?
1. Thriller - Because I am a huge MJ fan and dancing to his music always makes my day!
2. Cheerleading - It's a really personal party and everyone grins the second they have pompoms in their hands!
3. Dirty Dancing - It's such a classic, feel-good movie and the party is a ball!
What do you love about teaching hen parties in London & Oxford?
I love teaching dance hen parties, and am delighted to be teaching with The Cheerleading Company. The themes are a brilliant base to plan an entire hen weekend around and there are so many to choose from. I really enjoy hearing the bride's plans and seeing the excitement on her face at what I have in store for her and her hens! Seeing the bride have a wonderful time with her best friends is a great way to spend my weekends.
What dance experience have you had?
I trained at Bird College, London, in 'Professional Dance and Musical Theatre', I graduated with the prestigious 'Doreen Bird Further Development Award'. Alongside an exciting performing career that takes me all over Europe, I have since taught across the UK in many styles, specialising in Jazz and Contemporary. I run workshops and classes for all sorts of different people, from aspiring dance students, to adults who just want to have fun, I also teach disadvantaged and disabled children. I choreograph for ITV and am a body double in a feature film (but I can't tell you who for!).
I am an ISTD Tap and Modern Dance qualified teacher, and love coaching everyone, from absolute beginners, to the future stars of the dance industry.
Who are your dance inspirations?
I idolise the ballerina Misty Copeland, as she has overcome so many obstacles to get where she is now in her career, and has never backed down from her dream. I would also kill for Cyd Charisse's legs!
